The leak, located on the firefighting network, did not allow the system to go under pressure, forcing the pumps to start continuously.
Investigations were performed using electronic correlators, to restrict the working area, and two different geophone models to pinpoint the exact location of the leak.
The excavation at the indicated point ascertained the presence of a leak on an underground fitting and the subsequent repair definitively solved the pressure problem on the system.
