Repair with innovative technology Cured in Place Pipe (with sheath) of n. 3 polyethylene pipes, dn 50 mm, for swimming pool at a rehabilitation center in Chieti.
The damage was already causing water leaks and the situation presented an additional difficulty due to the small diameter of the pipes; for this reason it was necessary to perform an accurate preventive study in order to identify the specific method of intervention for this site.
Because of the location of the pipes, their replacement would have required major masonry work and the complete dismantling and subsequent resurfacing of the existing flooring.
With the non-destructive rehabilitation method (relining) with sheathing, instead, it was possible to rebuild the damaged pipes from the inside, guaranteeing a rapid and decidedly less expensive return to service.
This technique, in fact, involves the insertion of a treated sheath inside the damaged pipeline by means of air pressure. In this way it is possible to permanently repair the damaged pipes in an absolutely non-invasive way, without any need for excavation, breakage or other demolition of existing structures.
The no-dig technology is therefore the answer to every situation in which excavations and demolitions are not feasible or are not the most appropriate technique.
