Product overview
Pressure relief / sustaining control valves maintain a constant upstream pressure (valve inlet) by relieving excess pressure.
Sustaining application = The valve is installed in the distribution line between two pressure zones. If demand on the lower zone cause a drop in upper zone pres- sure, pressure is sustained to the minimum pre-set. When this occurs the pressure available to the downstream zone will be reduced.
Relief application = The valve is installed to relieve excess pressure from the source. Typically installed the valve diverts excess flow / pressure to atmosphere, storage tank, or back to pump suction.
Additional features
– Solenoid on-off control function. A remote control switch on/off the valve position;
– Check function. When the outlet became higher than inlet the function prevent the back flow;
– Reverse flow. Main valve totally open if outlet is higher than inlet;
– Low pressure shut-off with manual reset;
– Two adjustable pressure outlet value. The switch could be through a manual override, or by an electrically remote solenoid control;
– Flow rate control;
– On-off level control float device;
– Constant level float control valve;
– Booster pump control valve with check.
