Double eccentric double flanged butterfly valve is ideal in situations requiring the management of the fluid inside a pipeline, to partially or completely restrict its passage, as in the case of Torre del Diavolo plant of “Acquedotto Pugliese”.
A rubber gasket, specifically shaped for the purpose, guarantees a perfect hydraulic seal.
The double eccentric design allows to achieve the complete metal stress relief of the seal when the valve is open and the elimination of friction between the seal and body seat during disc movement, reducing operating torques and increasing seal life
